Import SOSI Files
The SOSI file format is a Norwegian standard format for geographic information.
Its an text based format with a human readable syntax.

Follow the general steps in Import Files.
- Specify options in the SOSI Reader Settings Editor’s Import Settings.

Click OK.

SOSI-specific Notes
When batch importing multiple SOSI files, the files to be imported together cannot have different SOSI versions (SOSI_VERSJON) or coordinate systems (KOORDSYS). Therefore, it is advisable to check this information in SOSI-vis from Kartverket, which is free software, or in a text editor, and then sort the files before they are imported.
