Rollup Employee Accumulations

The Rollup Employee Accumulations checkbox on the PR Purge form, Accumulations tab.

Rolling up accumulations is a way to reduce the volume of historical data while retaining potentially important payroll data. This is done by consolidating a year's worth of data into a single line by keeping only the net sum for the year. To roll up employee accumulations:

  1. Open the PR Purge form.
  2. Select the Rollup Employee Accumulations checkbox.
  3. In the Through Year field, enter the year through which to rollup employee accumulations.
    Note: You cannot rollup data newer than 3 years old. Enter a year that is at least 3 years prior. For example, if you are running the rollup in December 2021, you would enter a year equal to or prior to 2018.
  4. Click Purge.
For each combination of employee, month, type, and EDL code, the system consolidates a year's worth of data into a single line for the net sum of that type and EDL code.
