Pay Status Change Reason Screen Field Reference

Each row in the grid is a pay status change reason. Once you have used a pay status change reason, some cells in its row appear with a gray background, indicating that the cells are disabled. This prevents the pay status change reason from being change after it has been applied to an employee.

Pay Status Change Reason

Enter a code of up to eight alphanumeric characters to identify the pay status change reason.

Anmerkung: Alphanumeric characters include the letters A through Z, the numerals 0 through 9, and all special characters except comma, dash, period, percent, tilde, and single quote. In addition, the code cannot begin or end with a space.

Name

Enter a name for the pay status change reason.

Status

Click to select the status of the pay status change reason.

  • Active - The pay status change reason is available for use and appears in lookup lists.

  • Inactive - The pay status change reason is not available for use and does not appear in lookup lists on other screens. However, it persists in previous selections.

Set Employee Status To

Click to select the new status for the employee after the pay status change.

  • Active - Employee will be available for use and will appear in lookup lists.

  • Inactive - Employee will not be available for use and will not appear in lookup lists on other screens. However, it will persist in previous selections.

New Hire

Click to indicate if the pay status change reason applies to newly hired employees.

Click to select the term for the pay status change. You can use this value as a filter for an Employment Status Report.
