Percent of Budget |
Enter the percent of the budget amount of the existing budget line to apply to the copied budget line. When you add a budget line to the Selected grid, the budget amount of the line is adjusted by this percentage of the original amount. For example, suppose a budget line has an amount of $5,000 and you enter a percent of budget of 150%. When you add the line to the Selected grid, ProContractor modifies the budget amount to $7,500. Note: You can use this field to affect different budget lines
differently. When change the value in the Percent of Budget field after you add a budget line to the Selected grid, the budget amount of the selected line is not modified. The changed value in the Percent of Budget field is applied to the next budget line added to the selected grid. For example, suppose a budget line has an amount of $5,000 and you enter a percent of budget of 150%. When you add the line to the Selected grid, ProContractor modifies the budget amount to $7,500. Then you change the percent of budget to 75% and select a budget line that has an amount of $3,000. When you add this line to the Selected grid, ProContractor modifies the budget amount to $2,250. The budget amount of the first selected line remains $7,500. |
