If the cost center feature is enabled in the Enterprise Installation screen, when inquiring on Accounts Receivable outstanding totals Spectrum will display only the total of open invoices that the operator has permission to access. Spectrum compares the cost center assigned to each open invoice with cost centers in the operator's assigned scheme; if the invoice cost center is not present, then that invoice amount is not included.

The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.
