What's New in HR Management for Spectrum 2024 R11

The 2024 R11 release introduces an applicant tracking system integration for your HR Management portal. This release is available as of December 3, 2024.

Introducing Applicant Tracking!

HR Management for Spectrum now integrates with HiringThing™, an applicant tracking system that allows you to create and post job requisitions, customize job applications, track and rate applicants, and more! For more details, see the HiringThing Integration section in Help.

Access HiringThing from your HR Management Portal

The home page in HR Management includes a new Recruiting section with a link to Applicant Tracking (HiringThing). Based on their permissions, a user's home page may also include links to the new Ready to Invite dashboard or the New Hire Dashboard. See Access HiringThing for details.

Links to Applicant Tracking (HiringThing) and Recruiting have also been added to the main menu in HR Management.

The Applicant Tracking (HiringThing) links are available to HR Admins and IT Admins by default.

  • You must assign HR specialists permission to HiringThing by setting up the appropriate permission groups in HR Management. See Create Permission Groups for details.

  • For help adding recruiters to HiringThing and managing their permissions, see Add Recruiters to HiringThing.

HiringThing User Roles

HiringThing permissions are assigned automatically when users access the application. The first user in your organization to access HiringThing becomes the Account Owner for billing purposes and must agree to HiringThing's terms of service. The Account Owner role can be reassigned at anytime.

HR Admins are automatically assigned an Admin role the first time they access HiringThing. HR Specialists are automatically assigned a Reviewer role the first time they access HiringThing. These users must also agree to the HiringThing terms of service. See HiringThing User Roles for details.

New! Ready to Invite Dashboard

The Ready to Invite dashboard lists applicants who have been marked as hired in your HiringThing portal. HR specialists with Invite permissions can send onboarding invitations directly from this new dashboard. For more details, see Send an Onboarding Invitation From the Ready to Invite Dashboard.
