Manage Tax Centers

You can use the Company Tax Centre Maintenance screen to maintain multiple tax centers.

The default tax center will be global if no tax center is entered.

To access the Company Tax Centre Maintenance screen:
  1. Expand the Payroll menu in the left pane of the Jobpac Connect home screen.
  2. Expand the Company Information sub-menu.
  3. Select Tax Centre Maintenance to display the Company Tax Centre Maintenance screen.
  4. Enter the tax centre code in the field above the Tax Centre Code column.
  5. Enter the name of the tax centre in the field above the Tax Centre Name column.
  6. Enter the group code in the field above the Group Code column.
  7. Select OK at the top of the Company Tax Centre Maintenance screen.

This table provides information about the fields in the Company Tax Centre Maintenance screen.

FieldDescription

Tax Centre Code

Enter the company tax centre identification code in this field.

Tax Centre Name

Enter the name of the company tax centre in this field.

Group Code

If this is a pseudo company, enter the eight digit tax file number that will be printed in the PAYG payment summaries (Group Certificates) of those employees who are linked to this tax centre.
