Terminate Employee

You can terminate employees in the Terminate Employee screen.

To terminate an employee:
  1. Expand the Payroll menu in the left pane of the Jobpac Connect home screen.
  2. Expand the Employee Information sub-menu.
  3. Select Terminate Employee to display the Terminate Employee screen.
  4. Select the search icon in the Employee field and select the required employee.
  5. Select ACTIONS and select Modify.
    This screen is triggered only when the PAYROL parameter has a blank value at position 29, signifying Australian payroll.
  6. Enter the required values in the appropriate lump sum category and/or the ETP values, if applicable. If an employee is eligible for termination payouts, enter the ETP payment code and select the ETP taxable component which reveals the associated payout lines.
  7. The New Zealand payroll screen is displayed when position 29 of the PAYROL parameter contains the value "Z".
  8. Select OK in the Terminate Employee screen.
