This table provides the description for the fields in the PAY DETAILS tab in the Employee Maintenance - Pay Details screen.

Surname | Enter the surname of the employee in this field. |
Given Names | Enter the name that the employee has given in this field. |
Other | Enter any other name by which the employee has been known in this field. |
Initial | Enter the employee's initial in this field. |
Status | Salaried: Select the radio button if the employee receives a fixed monthly salary. Salaried employees do not require timesheets. System will automatically generate the timesheets based on the 'Salary Hrs Next Pay'. Permanent: Select the radio button if the employee gets hourly wages. The company must bear all the oncost expenses and superannuation. Permanent employees attract all on costs and superannuation. Time sheet entries are required for these employees. Temporary: Temporary employees are eligible for superannuation and the other benefits. However, they need to fill the time sheet and will not receive leave entitlements. Bonafide Contract: Bonafide contract employees will not be on the payroll. They will be paid through the accounts payable module. The business won't pay for their superannuation. They will not be paid for leaves. Their timesheet entries may have on-costs attached to them. Voluntary Agreement: An employee covered by a voluntary agreement as opposed to an award. The treatment in payroll is equivalent to "P" (Permanent). Non Bonafide Contract: Non bonafide contract employees will not be on the payroll. They will be paid through the accounts payable module. The business will pay for their superannuation. They will not be paid for leaves. Their timesheet entries may have on-costs attached to them. Terminated: Select the radio button if the employee has been terminated. |
If Contractor, Enter Creditor Code to Create AP RCTI | If the person is a contractor or a non-bonafide contractor, payments can be made through the creditors system and GST will be deducted from their payments. |
Pay Period | Weekly: Select the radio button if you want to pay the employee once every week. Fortnightly: Select the radio button if you want to pay the employee once every two weeks on a specific day of the week. Monthly: Select the radio button if you want to pay the employee once every month. |
RDO Code | Rostered day off is a day when the employee doesn't have to work. A RDO schedule will be predefined in the Payroll Parameters. You can select the required code if employee is entitled to it. If the employee is not entitled to RDO, you can leave the field blank. |
ETS Config Code | If your company is using the electronic timesheet module and requires to nominate an award to an employee, select the code that you would like to assign to the employee. |
Eligible for Superannuation | Select the checkbox if the employee is a part of the Superannuation program. Select this flag if superannuation is not processed in Jobpac but should still be displayed on the payslip. When this option is selected, an "Employer Superannuation Contribution" line will be included in the payslips. The contribution amount will be calculated as the product of the employee's total ordinary time earnings and the superannuation contribution rate defined in the payroll parameter. |
Rate | Enter the superannuation percentage in this field. |
Industry Super | Enter the code of the "Industry Superannuation Scheme" to which the employee is tagged to. |
Rates | Enter the rate of the "Industry Superannuation Scheme" in this field. |
Eligible for Leave Loading | Select the checkbox if the employee is eligible for leave loading. |
LLD Transaction Code | Enter the leave loading transaction code in this field. If a value is provided, the system will use it as the default transaction code for annual leave loading, overriding the default set in the transaction code definition. |
Rate | If the employee has a different leave loading rate than the standard company rate, enter the rate in this field. |
Payment Method | Bank Deposit: Select the radio button if you want to deposit the payments in the employee's bank account. Cash: Select the radio button if you want to make cash payments to the employee. Cheque: Select the radio button if you want to make payments by issuing a cheque. |
Bank | Enter the name of the bank in this field. |
Branch | Enter information about the branch of the bank in this field. |
Account | Enter the account number in this field. |
Include Next Pay Run | Select the checkbox if you want to include the employee in the next pay run. |
Standard Period Hours | Enter the number of hours an employee works for each pay period. |
Rate | Enter the pay rate per hour in this field. |
Manual Rate Entry | If you want to define a different rate compared to the automatic rate calculated by Jobpac, select the checkbox and enter the rate. |
Salary Hours Next Pay | Enter the number of hours that the salaried employee automatically should be paid for in this field. |
Normal Days/Week | Enter the number of days in a pay week in this field. |
Annual Salary | Enter the annual salary of the employee in this field. If an amount is provided, the employee's rate will be determined based on the entered amount and total hours for the year. |
Normal Hours/Day | Enter the number of standard hours per day in this field. |
Weekly Salary | Enter the employee's salary according to their pay schedule: weekly, fortnightly or monthly. |
Last Pay Date | The date when the employee was last paid. This field is updated by the payroll team. |
Pay Rates | If you are using employee pay rates,select one of the following options:

Tax Scale | Enter the tax scale that is applicable to the employee in this field. |
Tax File Number Declaration Provided | Select the checkbox if the employee has provided the tax file number. If this option is left unchecked, the employee will be taxed at the highest applicable rate. |
Declaration Signed Date | Enter the date the declaration was signed in this field. |
Rebates-Dependant | Enter the amount of annual dependant rebate that the employee can claim in this field. |
Calculate Tax | Select the checkbox to calculate the PAYG tax for the employee. If this box is left unchecked, the employee will not be taxed on their next pay. |
T.F.N | Enter the employee tax file number in this field. Note: This is a mandatory field. |
HELP/SFSS? | None: Select the radio button if the employee has not claimed a help/student financial supplement scheme loan. Tax Free Threshold: Select the radio button if the employee is claiming a tax free threshold. No Tax Free Threshold: Select the radio button if the employee is not claiming a tax free threshold. |
Send to ATO? | Select the checkbox to send the employee's file to the Australian Taxation Office. This option is no longer required, as the process for reporting new employees to the ATO is now integrated into STP 2 reporting. |
Zone | Enter the amount of annual zone rebate claimable by the employee in this field. |
Australian Resident | Enter "Y" if you want to submit TFN data to the ATO. |
Seniors Offset | Enter "Y" if you want to submit this data to the ATO. |
Security Code | Enter the security code to control the display of employee information in various enquiry screens. |
Tax Free Threshold Claimed | Select the checkbox if the employee has claimed the tax free threshold. |
Home Loan | Enter the amount of annual home loan rebate that can be claimed by the employee. |
