Electronic Payroll Transfer

In Jobpac Connect, you can create a file that can be used to transfer the payroll information to a bank electronically.

To create a file and transfer it to a bank electronically:
  1. Expand the Payroll menu in the left pane of the Jobpac Connect home screen.
  2. Expand the Payroll Processing sub-menu.
  3. Select Electronic Transfer to display the Extract Payroll Transactions to EFT File screen.
  4. Select the search icon in the Start Run number to display the Select Payroll Run window.
  5. Select the required run number and select the Select option in the Select Payroll Run window.
  6. Select the search icon in the Finish Run number field to display the Select Payroll Run window.
  7. Select the required run number and click the Select option in the Select Payroll Run window.
  8. Select the calendar icon in the Date to be processed at bank field and select the required date.
  9. Select OK at the top of the Extract Payroll Transactions to EFT File screen.
If a GL bank account is specified in payroll parameter maintenance, employee pay deposits will be posted to the general ledger.

The system will debit the wages clearing account, also defined in the Payroll Maintenance screen, and credit the GL bank account accordingly.
