Import stock receipt data to enter inventory quantities for catalog items without a purchase order from Microsoft Excel. You could import stock receipts to record initial inventory quantities.
- Optional: If you haven't already done so, enter or import catalog items.
- On the Import Data screen, import stock receipt data from Microsoft Excel.
- Post the stock receipts in the posting group.
- On the View Warehouse Quantities screen, review inventory quantities to confirm the accuracy of the stock receipts.
- Optional: Modify unit costs and quantities for items, as needed.
