Import projects from an Excel file, a TSV file, or QuickBooks to create project records in ProContractor. A project is required in order to create entries in the Projects module. The project record contains all project-related details, including contract details, payroll information, cost types, cost codes, and contact information. Importing projects allows you to create multiple project records at one time.
- Optional: Set up defaults for project entry or import.
- On the Import Data screen, import project records from an Excel file, a TSV file, or from QuickBooks.
- Optional: Modify each project record to add information that was not imported.
