Import Subcontracts

Import subcontracts from an Excel file or TSV file to create subcontract records in ProContractor. The subcontract record helps you monitor billing, retention, and payments, as well as bond and insurance requirements. Importing subcontracts allows you to create multiple subcontract records at one time.

Optional: If you haven't already done so, set up your subcontract defaults on the Subcontract Settings screen.
Optional: If you haven't already done so, set up the vendor for subcontracts.
On the Import Transactions screen, import subcontract records from an Excel file or a TSV file.
Optional: Modify subcontract records as needed to add information that was not imported.

After you import subcontracts, you may want to:

Manually Create a Vendor Lien Notice
View Vendor Lien Document Logs screen
Create a Vendor Invoice
Create a Subcontract Change Order
Run Vendor Reports
