The following table explains the icons available when using the Grid Settings pane.

 | Indicates the row currently selected. |
 | Opens a field chooser that allows you to select the columns that appear in a grid and rename them. |
 | Displays the Grid Settings pane. (No need to click, just mouse over.) |
 | On the Grid Settings pane, "pins" the pane so that it displays at all times. On a column, "pins" the column, moving it to the left side of the grid and keeping it visible when you scroll to the right. |
 | On the Grid Settings pane, "unpins" the pane so that it displays only when you mouse over its tab. On a column, "unpins" the column so that it scrolls with the rest of the grid. Note that the column remains on the left side of the grid. |
 | Displays a list of functions that can be performed on the data in the column, such as finding the minimum or maximum value. |
