Add Data Exchange Credentials to Traqspera

Modified: 5 Oct 2026 Traqspera Administration Help

After you complete the data connection setup in Spectrum, add your Data Exchange credentials to Traqspera. If applicable, you will also configure enhanced authentication in Traqspera as part of this process.

Tip: **Self-Configuration Guide Available**

The Self-Configuration guides include the Spectrum Connection Setup as the first module. If you have already configured the data connection setup as part of self-configuration, you do not need to complete the following steps. Instead, you can use the following information to review your data connection setup.

  1. In Traqspera, select Settings & Permissions > Export Configuration.
  2. Scroll to the Spectrum Authentication section.

  3. In Authorization ID, enter the authorization ID that you configured in Spectrum (for example, TRAQ1234567890).

See Use Quick Setup to Configure Your Authorization ID for help creating an authorization ID.

  4. In Spectrum URL, enter the URL website address for the Spectrum environment to connect to Traqspera. For example, https://spectrumcompanyname.dextercheney.com.
Important: You must format the Base URL as follows:
    • It must include https:// at the beginning, or the sync with Spectrum will fail.

    • It cannot end with a forward slash (/). That is, it should end with .com, not .com/.

  5. In Company Code, enter the primary company code for the data connection with Traqspera.
  6. If you have enabled enhanced authentication in Spectrum:
    1. Select the Use Advanced Authentication button. The Client ID, Client Secret, and Client Secret Expiration Date fields display.

    2. Enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and Client Secret Expiration Date for your authorization ID. You will find this information in Spectrum. See Enable Enhanced Authentication in Spectrum for details.
  7. Select Save.
Your Data Exchange credentials are saved in Traqspera.
