What's New in Traqspera 2024 R10

Modified: 9 Oct 2026 Traqspera Administration What's New Mobile

The 2024 R10 release of Traqspera includes mandatory Trimble ID for new enterprises (available October 24, 2024) and introduces pay stubs in the mobile application (available November 1, 2024) for users with an HR license.

New Features

Mandatory Trimble ID

Trimble ID is now mandatory and the default setup for all new enterprises created in Traqspera. Trimble ID is also mandatory for organizations that want their employees to access pay stubs through the mobile application.

In addition, logging in with Trimble ID will be required for all existing users in an upcoming winter 2024 release. At that time, existing users will no longer be allowed to log in to either the web or mobile applications with their Traqspera user account credentials.

For help and best practices in migrating your users to Trimble ID, see Configure Mandatory Trimble ID for details.

As part of this change, a new column called Linked to Trimble ID has been added to the User Management page. You can use this column to track progress on migrating user accounts to Trimble ID.

Note: A Trimble ID is not required for Kiosk users.

View Pay Stubs in the Traqspera Mobile Application

Note: Added in an update after the initial 2024 R10 release.

Employees with a Trimble ID can now access their pay stub information from the new Earnings page in the Traqspera mobile application.

Requirements to view pay stubs:

  • Trimble ID is mandatory for organizations that want their employees to access pay stubs through the mobile application.

  • Users must have an HR license. If you are a Traqspera legacy customer and also own HR Management for Spectrum, please contact Support for assistance.

  • Users must have a Trimble ID that is linked to the same employee account in Traqspera and HR Management. That user must be able to see pay stubs from their Earnings page at hr.viewpoint.com.

  • Users must log in to the mobile application with their Trimble ID. That Trimble ID must be the same one they use to log in to hr.viewpoint.com.

Note: For this initial release, employees can access their pay stubs in the mobile application, but not their tax forms. Tax forms will be available in a future release.

Access Earnings in the mobile application:

Employees can access the Earnings page in two ways. They can select Earnings from their Home page.

Or they can select Earnings from their Profile page.

From their main Earnings page, employees can view a summary of their total hours worked and net pay. They can also select View Pay Stub to see details for a specific pay date and to download a PDF version of their pay stub. See View My Pay Stubs for more details.

The pay stub information shown in the mobile application is the same information available to users in HR Management and is based on how you have configured Enterprise Settings and Earnings Settings in your portal.

Improvements

Jobs

  • If you enable the setting Automatically Add Default Sub Job To New Jobs, phases are automatically created for new job cost jobs only. Previously, phases were automatically created for job cost, equipment, and work order jobs when this setting was enabled.

Mobile

  • The timesheet list now includes any future pay periods that have been created based on the setting Days in Future to Create Time Periods. Previously, only pay periods up to the current pay period would display.

  • On daily reports, the equipment section now shows only the entry types that you have specified in the setting Equipment Entry Types Allowed. In addition, the equipment number and description now display in full.

Timesheets

  • New permission Can Use Region allows users to select a region or state for job or equipment entries on timesheets. The region will default based on the job location. If the job does not have a default location, the region defaults based on the employee location. If you enable this permission:

    • You must also enable the setting Use Region to make the Region field available for job or equipment timesheet entries.

    • The region shows on timesheets, the Timesheet Summary, and in Timesheet Review.

Issues Fixed

Web

  • When exporting equipment entries with a work order department or an overhead department to a .CSV file, the .CSV file listed the job number in the wrong field and incorrectly included a phase code.

  • The Department field for equipment timesheet entries was not prefilling based on the clock-in selections.

  • Resolved issues with default department information prefilling equipment timesheet entries.

  • The Logs and Revisions page failed to load.

Mobile

  • Safety reports that were available on the web were not showing for the same user in the mobile application.
