Traqspera is introducing Managed users to simplify application access and user management for field and mobile employees without requiring a Trimble ID.
Important: Once this update is
released, you will no longer be able to create Legacy usernames and passwords. All
new users must be either a Managed
user or Trimble ID user.
Upon release, users will be organized into three distinct
categories:
: Recommended for field and mobile employees who
just use Traqspera. These
users receive invites via text or email and log in with an assigned username
and password. System admins are responsible for creating and managing their
credentials.
: Recommended for office employees or those using
multiple Trimble products. These users log in with their Trimble ID credentials and manage
their own security settings.
: Existing users created prior to this release that
don't have a Trimble ID. Admins
can easily convert Legacy users to Managed users with a bulk
conversion tool.
Key Benefits
- Simplified access: convert those who have already created a Trimble ID to Managed users to simplify their log in process.
- Streamlined onboarding: system admins can add and configure users quickly without requiring them to create a Trimble ID.
- Flexible invitation options: invite Managed users via text or email.
- Centralized credential control: system admins have full control over Managed user credentials, including password resets, making troubleshooting simpler.
- Quick bulk migration: system admins can transition multiple Legacy users to Managed users at once using the bulk conversion process.
This update is expected to launch in August 2026.
