What's New in the Admin Console - April 2026

Modified: 9 May 2026 Trimble Account Services

This release introduces a dedicated security hub for password policies, granular support access controls, and enhanced user management tools for improved administrative efficiency.

New Security Page

The Admin Console now includes a hub for administrators to manage organization-wide security.
  • Password Policies: Set custom complexity and length requirements, password expiration and history (limiting reuse of prior passwords), and sign-in attempt limits.
  • Account Recovery: Manually reset user passwords or unlock accounts suspended due to failed sign-in attempts.
The hub's functionality applies only to standard Trimble ID users, and not to managed, domain-federated, or social sign-on users.

For complete details, see Manage Authentication and Account Security.

Configurable Support Access

When adding users, Admins with any level of access to submit support cases can now designate the level of support access of other users.

The support access level is assigned at the moment you add the user (individually or via CSV bulk upload). There are three levels to choose from:
  • No Access - Access free resources, such as Trimble Help and The Network; cannot submit or view support tickets.
  • My Tickets - Submit and view one's own support cases.
  • All Tickets - Submit support cases and view all account case activity.
Note: For users belonging to multiple accounts, support visibility is enabled if the user has access in at least one account, but access to submit cases is limited to what is specifically granted for each given account.

For additional details, including how to change a user's access level, see Manage Support Access.

Enhanced Admin Efficiency

  • We've added a Products column to the Users page so you can easily view exactly which licenses a user holds, and just as easily identify which users don't have access to a given product.
  • You can now filter the Users list by specific products or unlicensed status. Additionally, you can resize, reorder, and hide columns to create a custom view that the Admin Console will remember for your next session.

Updated Invitation Workflow

To enhance security and user transparency, all users (including those with existing Trimble IDs) must now explicitly accept an invitation via email before being added to a new account.
