Create and Edit Trimble ID Passkeys

Modified: 6 Jun 2026 Trimble Account Services Sign In and Profile Help

If you didn't set up a passkey when you first created your Trimble ID, or want to add another passkey, use your Trimble ID profile page to do it.

MFA resets do not delete passkeys

If Support has temporarily disabled your MFA so you can regain access to your Trimble ID account, all your MFA setup will be erased except your passkey(s). If it was your passkey preventing your access and you want it deleted, you must delete it manually.

Passkeys are encrypted digital keys you create using your fingerprint, facial recognition, or PIN. You can edit and delete them as needed.
Tip: You can set up more than one passkey if you want. Even if you have only one passkey, you should set up more than one MFA method.
Important: When choosing your passkey method, avoid using local-only browser extensions or niche password managers that are not listed on the FIDO Certified Products list. For details, see Trimble ID Passkeys FAQ.
