All objects (files, folders, projects, ToDos, and so on) stored in Trimble Connect use the concept of directories to access data stored on a disk, device, or server.
Due to certain operating system (OS) file name restrictions, do not use the following characters in names:
- < (less than)
- › (greater than)
- : (colon)
- " (citation mark)
- / (forward slash)
- \ (backslash)
- | (vertical bar or pipe)
- ? (question mark)
- CHAR. (Characters followed by dot)
- * (asterisk)
- .. (double dot)
