Set up Date and Time Format Preferences

After setting up your profile, you need to set up your date and time preferences.

The default date format will remain as MMM DD, YYYY (for example, Jan 20, 2022) until you have selected a particular format from the user profile.

To setup date and time format preferences:

  1. Login to your Connect Browser account using your Trimble ID.
  2. Select My Profile > Preferences.
  3. Select the required option in the Date Display Format drop-down.
  4. Select the required option in the Time Display Format drop-down.

Format Options and Limitations

Here are the date and time format options that are supported by Connect Browser:

The default date format is MMM DD, YYYY (for example, Jan 20, 2022) until you have selected a particular format from the user profile.

Date Display Format:
  • DD-MMM-YYYY
  • DD-MM-YYYY
  • MM-DD-YYYY
  • YYYY-MMM-DD
  • YYYY-MM-DD
Time Display Format:
  • 12hr(HH12:MI:SS AM/PM)
  • 12hr(HH12:MI AM/PM)
  • 24hr(HH24:MI:SS)
  • 24hr(HH24:MI)

Where Will the Changes Reflect in Connect for Browser

Based on your preference, the date and time displays uniformly across the Connect for Browser application, including but not limited to:
  • files and folders
  • topics
  • views
  • activity feed
  • 3D viewer (including the custom properties)
  • to-dos (as illustrated below)
  • in the account admin dashboard (if you are an Account administrator)

Exceptions

The user preferred date and time preferences do not reflect in the following:

  1. Custom date filters (since these have calendar based date selection).
  2. Data exported to Excel from Connect for Browser.
  3. Email notifications from Connect.
