Tags

Tag can be added to most data types in Trimble Connect.

Once a tag has been created, it can be reused across the whole project. Tags can be used and are visible to all project members.

While working inside Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer, you will be able to add Tags to:

Note: New tags are not always retained while working in the 2D Viewer.

Create or Add New Tags

You can create and add tags in the 2D viewer.

Ensure that you are in the process of creating or editing a ToDo or View in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.

To create or add a tag:

Click on the tag field and enter the tag name.
If no tag with the same name exists, select the Enter key to create a new tag.
If a tag already exists in the project, select it from the dropdown menu.
When you are done with your changes, select Save located at the bottom of the panel.

You can remove tags in the 2D viewer.

To remove tags:

Open a file in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
Open the Detail panel for the View or ToDo.
Select Edit in the top right of the panel.
The panel will change to Edit Mode.
Select x next to the tag name.
When you are done with your changes, select Save located at the bottom of the panel.
