Create Views

You can create views in the 3D viewer.

If you create Views that are meant to be viewed on Trimble Connect for Mobile, it is recommended that you utilize clip planes so that the View only contains the relevant model objects for that View.

This will help improve performance on the mobile application as it will require less data to be loaded on the device.

When creating a View, the 3D view and its content is saved. This includes the following:

Camera angle and zooming
Color and transparency changes
Object visibility changes
Measurements
Markups
Clip planes
Grid visibility
Clashes visibility
Ghost mode
Orthogonal/Perspective mode

To create a View:

Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser and navigate to the 3D Viewer.
After you have loaded a model inside the Viewer, adjust the model to any position that you would like to capture a View of.
Select Add View in the toolbar.
The New View panel opens.
Enter the desired information.
Select Save.
