Launch Files and Views from Trimble Connect for Mobile by using a QR code.
- Quickly open files and views in Trimble Connect for Mobile by scanning a QR code. This eliminates the need to navigate through folders or search for specific views.
- QR codes can launch both 2D and 3D files supported by Trimble Connect.
- Multiple 3D models can be mapped to a QR code, and all files launch together.
Note: QR codes don't modify user file and views permissions. Users with "No access" file permissions can't open files. Users can only open the Views that have been shared with them.
QR Scanner Options
QR scan options are available throughout the Trimble Connect for Mobile app, allowing for easy scanning.
Where Can I Generate a Code From?
You can launch the files or view and capture the QR code from the browser as shown below. It can be downloaded and placed on-site where the user has access to the model or view.
You can also generate a QR code from the Trimble Connect for Browser application's detail panel (Files, Views).
