In Trimble Connect for Windows, you can use clipping plane tools to create cross-sectional Views of 3D models.
You can create clip planes both vertically and horizontally. Once you've created the desired cross section, you can save it as a View or a ToDo and share it with various team members.

Snapping
Snapping in 3D indicates which point, edge or surface is going to be picked. Clip planes can be placed along an object face or edge line.

Work with the clip box tool
You can use the Clip Box tool to select a specific area of a 3D model and hide the remaining portions. Clipping a 3D model promotes focused viewing and analysis. See Work with Clip Boxes for more information.
