Adjust a Billing Period Date Range

Modified: 18 Sep 2026 Trimble Pay Billings Help

If you are a Project Admin or Curator, you can change a billing period's date range to accommodate exceptions.

You can make adjustments only to the current and second-most current periods, and only if you are a Project Admin or Curator.
There might be various occasions to change a billing period's date range:
  • You want to extend the deadline by which subcontractors must submit their Applications for Payment.
  • You want to shorten the date range because you've received all expected applications and want to prevent any others from being submitted.
Important: These rules apply to each billing period:
    • The start date must be in the same month as the corresponding pay period.
    • The end date can be in the same or next month as the corresponding pay period.
    • In all cases, the maximum duration is 31 days.
Pay periods are also known as Accounting Periods. See Billing Periods.
  1. On the Active projects tab, select the project you want to adjust a billing period for.
  2. Among the tabs at the top of the screen, select Billing periods.
The billing periods for the project are listed.
  3. Select the Billing start date and/or Billing end date field for a given pay period.
  4. Select the new date.
The date field displays your selection.
Trimble Pay enforces the newly set date range as the window of time subcontractors can submit their Applications for Payment.
