Establish which documents you will require to be included with each invoice your subcontractors submit.
You can avoid having to set up project-specific requirements if you set up a company-level template which can be applied to projects as you create them. See
Create a Billing Requirements Template.
You can set up requirements at the project level so that they apply to all contracts of a given project. However, if you have contract-specific requirements, you can set them up for a particular contract.
To set requirements at the project level:- From your Dashboard, select the project.
The list of project contracts appears.
- Among the tabs at the top of the screen, select Billing requirements.
- On the right-hand side of the screen, choose one:
- Choose which company-level billing requirement template to apply. Select Yes to confirm your choice and skip all remaining steps.
- Select Create requirements and proceed with the remaining steps.
- Select one:
- Add your first controlled requirement.
- Add your first uncontrolled requirement.
- Add your first lower tier requirement.
- Make your selections accordingly. If needed, see Controlled and Uncontrolled Requirements.
- Select Add attachment.
The document now appears in the list of Billing Requirements for the project. The requirement to provide this document now applies to all subcontracts, and will be included with each invoice your subcontractors submit.
