A description of how Spectrum Subcontract Phase Detail is imported into Trimble Pay, and how the subcontractor schedule of values in Trimble Pay links back to the Subcontract Phase Detail values.
Trimble Pay imports
Subcontract Phase Detail when it imports the Subcontract. For details, see Import Subcontracts from Spectrum.
- As part of the import, the AP Subcontract Phase Detail becomes section headers within the subcontractor Schedule of Values (SOV).
- As with all SOVs, the details can be added by the subcontractor and/or by the general contractor. As long as the line item SOV equals the Subcontract Phase Detail value, the subcontractor can proceed with submitting their Application for Payment.
- The AP Subcontract Phase Details appear as part of the subcontractor schedule of values in the associated AP subcontract.
- When created, the subcontractor schedule of values is required to tie out to the phase detail value to ensure proper cost allocation when invoices are submitted using Trimble Pay and exported back to Spectrum.
Note: The integration does not support subcontracts that
use bill item numbers in the AP Subcontract Phase Detail. If you use
subcontracts with bill items, costs from the exported invoices will not be
properly allocated to the correct bill items, causing issues for your financial
records.
