Set up a Trimble Pay™ Account

Each user in Trimble Pay must set up their own account and use Trimble Identity (ID) to log in to their account.

1. Open the invitation email and select Get started.
   A Welcome to Trimble Pay page displays.
2. On the Welcome to Trimble Pay login page, choose an option:
   • If you already have a Trimble ID, or are ready to create a Trimble ID, select Sign in with Trimble ID.
     Important: If you have already created a Trimble ID for use with any other Trimble application, do not create another one. If you need to change your credentials, go to myprofile.trimble.com.
3. If you selected Sign in with Trimble ID, the Trimble ID Sign In page displays. Choose an option:
   • If you already have a Trimble ID, enter your email, then select Next to open the Complete your registration page. Select a job title from the dropdown list, then select Submit to open your Trimble Pay projects home page.
   • If you need to create a Trimble ID, select the Create a Trimble ID link.
     Important: You may need to create a new Trimble ID by selecting the Create a Trimble ID link, if you receive this error message:

4. To open the Create your Trimble ID page, choose your region from the options list and select Next.
5. Enter your first name, last name, and the email address that you want to associate with your Trimble ID.
6. Review the terms and conditions, select the checkbox, and then select Agree and continue.
   A unique code is sent to your email.
7. Check your email to retrieve the code and enter it in the Verification Code field.
8. Create and enter a password that meets the complexity requirements shown on the screen. Confirm your password then select Submit.
   The secure passkey page opens displays.
9. Optional: If you want to sign in with a passkey instead of your password, select Create a passkey. To skip this step or use a passkey for multifactor authentication (MFA) instead, select Skip for now.
10. Optional: If you opted to set up a passkey, follow the prompts from your browser or device. When you are finished, select Done.
    Note: Trimble does not store your fingerprint, PIN, or face data.
11. In the Account Preferences screen, confirm your information and select Next. If you created a passkey, you can set up additional MFA methods in the next step. If you did not create a passkey, set up at least two MFA methods in the next step.
12. To set up MFA through Trimble ID, select Count me in.
    • When setting up MFA, enable additional authentication methods in case you lose access to your first MFA method. For more information on multifactor authentication requirements, see Set Up Your Trimble ID MFA Methods.
    • While not recommended, you can skip this step by selecting I'll enable MFA later.
