What's New lists the enhancements and changes available in the Trimble Pay 5.2 release. This release is available in February 2026.
Change Order Management
General contractor admins now have the ability to delete change orders directly within Trimble Pay. For integrated contracts, admins should manage all change orders directly within Spectrum or Vista. However, if an unbilled change order remains in Trimble Pay after being removed from Spectrum or Vista, delete it manually using these steps:
-
On the Trimble Pay contract page, select the Change orders tab.
- Choose the change order you want to delete from the list by selecting the caret.
If the change order has not been billed against, a Delete button displays.
- Select Delete.

- To confirm you want to delete the change order, select Yes.
For information on Spectrum and Vista change order imports, see Import Change Orders from Spectrum and Import Change Orders from Vista.
MFA Required for ACH Payments
Multifactor authentication (MFA) is required for payment-related actions, such as releasing payments or changing banking information. To take these actions, you must enable MFA for your Trimble ID.
For more information, see Set Up Your Trimble ID MFA Methods.
ACH Payment Improvements
We've launched a new payment activity feed to help you track who initiated a payment, monitor status updates, and identify required actions. Key upgrades include:
-
Improved Audit Logs: Updated comments and payment history.
- Smart Milestones: Automated system notes for critical payment events.
- Auto-reset: Failed payments automatically revert to Needs my attention.

Resolved Issues
Improved Bulk Payment Stability: Optimized data fetching on the Invoice Payables page to prevent system crashes and timeouts when managing thousands of records, allowing for smoother bulk releases and a more responsive interface.
Resolved County Data Overwriting: Fixed an issue where Vista vendor updates were overwriting manually entered County field data in Trimble Pay. To ensure data integrity, the field is no longer mandatory and will no longer be overwritten during integration imports.
Contract Reminders: On the Contract page, users are now able to send reminders via the Send Reminder Bell icon.
