What's New in Trimble Pay 5.7 - May 2026

Modified: 9 Jul 2026 Trimble Pay Administration What's New

What's New lists the enhancements and changes available in the Trimble Pay 5.7 release. This release is available in May 2026.

Payable Invoices

  • Mark as paid for Vista-integrated payments

Users with the Company Issuer role can now manually mark Vista-integrated payments as paid when automated ERP callbacks fail. This applies to payments in ePayment Started, Partially Paid, or Released to Vista status, and triggers vendor verification before releasing unconditional lien waivers.

When the Marked as paid button is selected, a confirmation warning displays: By marking this invoice as paid, you are initiating vendor verification for the release of unconditionals. Any further payment activity in Vista will no longer be tracked in Trimble Pay.

This process unblocks the lien waiver workflow so users can release unconditional documents without waiting for support assistance.

For more information on the Issuer Role and paid invoices, see Company User Roles and Initiate Payments in Vista Using Check or EFT.

  • Payment Status Filters

On the All tab of Payable Invoices, all customers can now filter payments by status across payment tabs, making it easier to quickly find payments in a specific state without needing to manually sort and scroll through the list.

  • Improved Invoice Status Grouping for Vista Payment Workflows

For Payable invoices, the Posted in Vista tab has been renamed to Complete and now only displays invoices that have fully processed. Invoices with in-progress statuses (such as ePayment started, Partially paid, or Voided) now display under the Sent to Vista tab, making it easier to identify payments that still require attention and reducing the risk of stuck payments going unnoticed.

Note: For Vista customers who use the Mark as Paid button, the final invoice status displays as Payment Override.

Subcontractors

  • Improved Document Uploads Error Messaging

Subcontractors will now see a clear error message when an uploaded document exceeds the file size limit so they can quickly identify and resolve issues when attaching documents to pay applications.

ACH Payments

  • ACH Payment Return Notifications

Subcontractors and general contractors will now receive email notifications when an ACH payment is returned by a bank, ensuring both parties are promptly informed of payment issues. Previously, email alerts were only sent for failed transfers but not for bank-returned payments.

  • Payment Setup

The Payments Setup page now correctly reflects the status for accounts with existing ACH capability. The underwriting section and progress indicators are no longer shown for these accounts, and the Action needed tag has been removed to avoid confusion.

Change Orders

  • Vista Integration

Change orders deleted in Vista are now automatically removed from Trimble Pay when ERP data is synced.

Resolved Issues

  • Billing Requirements: The Lower Tier Requirements section now correctly displays the Add another requirement and Add your first lower tier requirement buttons after applying a billing requirement template at the project level.

  • Contracts: Subcontractors no longer see the Add your first uncontrolled requirement button in the Uncontrolled Requirements section of a contract, ensuring they cannot create requirements they do not have permission to add.

  • Payments: Fixed an issue where users with correct Payment Approver permissions were unable to release payments due to a backend configuration issue that prevented permission changes from being properly synced.
  • E-Notary: Signature details now correctly appear on the Unconditional Progress Waiver document after e-notarization when electronic signature is selected during requirement creation.

  • E-Notary / Pay Application: The notary Commission Number on the Default Pay Application now displays as a plain number instead of scientific notation.

  • Notarization: Resolved an issue where the Default Pay Application preview displayed duplicate Notary sections when both Physical Signature and Requires Notarization options were enabled. The preview now correctly shows a single Notary section as expected.

  • Invoice Sync: Invoices now correctly sync to your ERP when retroactively approved.
  • Vendor Invitations:

    • Invited subcontractors now see their project on the dashboard immediately after accepting a contract invite, eliminating an error that previously blocked access.

    • New vendor members added to an existing contract now correctly appear in the reinvitation list, ensuring all non-onboarded members can receive contract invites.

    • Active vendor members who receive a new contract invite no longer appear as duplicates on the vendor page, and member records display and manage correctly across all associated contracts.

    • Non-onboarded vendor members can now be reinvited to a contract even after another member on the same vendor has already activated, ensuring all pending members remain available in the reinvitation list.

    • Compliance requirements can now be edited for vendors who have not yet accepted a contract invite. Previously, compliance items could not be added for newly invited vendors until they accepted the invitation.

  • Vendor Contracts:
    • Vendor names now appear on the contract list before the vendor accepts an invitation. Previously, the vendor name was missing from the contracts page until the invite was accepted, making it difficult to locate the contract.
