View the Job Site in 3D

View the job site in 3D to get a clearer understanding of the scope of a job and how the existing or proposed site looks.

To get a clearer understanding of how the job site looks, you can view an earthwork job according to three different layers:

Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.

Note: To open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen, click Estimating > Earthwork > Manage Earthwork Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Click Open Existing Job. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
Select the 3D tab, if it is not already active.
In the Active Layer field on the toolbar, click to select the layer you want to view.
If you have multiple image files, in the Active Image field on the toolbar, click to select the image you want to view.

Note: Areas that have been set to exclude from totals will appear as green in the 3D view.
