Select an Area in the Area Tab

Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.

Note: To open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen, click Estimating > Earthwork > Manage Earthwork Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Click Open Existing Job. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
Select the Area tab, if it is not already active.
In the Active Layer field on the toolbar, click to select the layer that contains the elevation you want to select.
Click Select on the speedbar.
Tip: Hold down the Shift or Ctrl keys while in Select mode to activate Multi Select mode.
Press the tip of the stylus or click anywhere in the area that you want to select. The line marking the perimeter of the area is highlighted to show that the area is selected.
Tip: You can tab between areas of a layer by pressing [+] and [–] on the keyboard or menu pad. Additionally, you can press [ > ]and [<] to perform this action.
