The Snap feature allows you to create new areas that precisely border existing areas.
You can specify which existing area should be "snapped to" at several points in the process: before digitizing the rest of the area; in the middle of the process of digitizing an area; or after completing the digitized portion of an area. You can also select multiple areas in this manner, and the new area will "snap to" all of them.
Note: The Align to Image tool does not work with the following:
- Select
- Snap
- Crop
- Cross Section
- Section Profile
- Multi Elevation
- Single Elevation
