Align a digitized layer in an imported TDS file using matchlines.
- Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.
- Select the Takeoff tab, if it is not already active.
- If you have not imported the TDS file you want to work with, refer to TDS Data screen, and follow the steps listed there.
- In your imported layer, follow the steps listed in Digitize Spot Elevations and Reference Points to create the reference points in the imported layer.
- In the Active Layer field on the toolbar, select the layer you want to digitize.
- Click in the All Tasks pane.
- Click Next to skip the first page of the Add Drawing popup window.
- Complete the fields as described on the Add Drawing Popup Window Field Reference.
- Click Finished. Continue the digitization process as normal.
