In the Active Layer field on the toolbar, click
to select the layer for which you want to digitize a line.

Click Vector
on the speedbar to enable vector functionality (if not already enabled).

Do one following to select the vectors within the line you want to digitize:
- Click Select
on the speedbar, hold the
Shift key, and left-click on each vector within the line you want to
digitize. - Click Multi
on the speedbar and left-click
on each vector within the line you want to digitize.
- Click Select

Complete the annotation by right-clicking or by clicking Finished
on the speedbar.
Note: To complete the annotation without increasing/decreasing the interval, click Continue
instead of Finished on the speedbar.
