Use the Grid tab to view colors corresponding to cut and fill volumes of the grid
cells.
The red cells show that the cell requires cut while blue cells show that the cell requires
fill. The darker the color, the more cut or fill is required. You can also view the cut and
fill volumes using high contrast colors instead of just shades of red and blue. When you
view cut and fill in high contrast, warm colors, such as red and yellow, represent cut
areas, and cool colors, such as green and blue, represent fill.

Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates
screen.
Note: To open a job in the
Manage Earthwork Estimates screen, click in the All Tasks pane. Click Open Existing Job. Then select
the job you want to open, and click OK.

Select the Grid tab, if it
is not already active.

Click Color
on the speedbar.

If you would prefer to work
with high-contrast colors instead of the default red-and-blue, select Contrast
on the speedbar.

To remove the high contrast,
click Contrast
again.

To hide the colors, click
Color
again.
