- Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.
- Select the Area tab, if it is not already active.

In the Active Layer field, click
to select the layer that contains the area you want to copy.

Click Select
on the speedbar.
- Select the area you want to copy.
- Press Ctrl and [C].
- Click the Takeoff tab.
- Press Ctrl and [V]. The area is pasted as a new line in the Takeoff tab with the same dimension and location as the area. Note that the elevation of the line is 0.
- Set the appropriate elevation for the new line by clicking in the All Tasks pane.
