Copy Trench Properties

Copying trench properties allows you to set the properties of one trench, and then quickly copy those properties to other trenches without having to reset the properties of each individual trench.

Note: When you copy the properties of one trench to another, the only properties on the Trench Properties popup window that are not copied are the Trench name. All other properties are copied.

Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.

Note: To open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen, click Estimating > Earthwork > Manage Earthwork Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Click Open Existing Job. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
Select the Trench tab, if it is not already active.
Click Select on the speedbar.
Select the trench that you want to copy.
Click the Copy on the speedbar.
Select the trenches that you want to take on the properties of the first trench. Click All to select all trenches listed. Click None to deselect all selected trenches.
Click OK. The properties of the first trench are copied to the trenches you selected.
