Create a new list assembly with selected cost items as members

Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
From the Catalog tab, click to select the catalog which contains the cost items you want to convert from the Catalog field.
Select the folder in the catalog which contains the cost items you want to convert.
If needed, select the cost item you want to convert.
Click More on the speedbar to display the Advanced Catalog Editing toolbar.
Click To Asm .
Select Create new assembly with existing cost item as member.
Under Choose Which Items To Convert, select the option for which cost items to include in the list assembly.
Valid values include the following:
- Selected cost items only – Each cost item selected is converted to a list assembly that includes the cost item.
- All cost items in this folder – All cost items in the selected folder are converted to list assemblies that include the cost item.
- All cost items in this folder and its sub-folders – All cost items in the selected folder and its sub-folders are converted to list assemblies that include the cost item.
In the Reference suffix field, enter text to add to the end of the cost item reference to create the list assembly reference.
In the Description prefix field, enter text to add to the beginning of the cost item description to create the list assembly description.
Click OK.
