- Open the visual assembly.

Click Lookup
next to the field for which you want to select a cost item.

Choose the item you want to select for the part. If you don't want to select a cost item for this part, click Select None.
If the cost item you want to select does not appear in the Lookup list, click Modify List to add the cost item to the list. See Managing Cost Items in the Lookup for more information.
To filter the list of items, select the appropriate unit of measurement in the Filter by Units drop-down. Any cost items that don't use the selected unit of measurement are filtered out.
- Click OK to add the cost item to the visual assembly. The visual assembly reappears with the cost item you selected in the field.

Click Lookup next to the field for which you want to select a cost item.
