When you lock the Earthwork notepad, you cannot edit any information in the notepad. However, you can still drag and drop fields into the estimate and change the order of the columns in the notepad.
- Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
- Open the Estimate tab.

to view the Earthwork quantities in a notepad view.
- Right-click on any column header and select Lock EW Notepad (not Editable).
