- Open the visual assembly.
- Click Takeoff Item.

Select the Takeoff Item Type from the following options:
- None
- Count
- Length
- Area
- Volume
- Set the properties of the line, area, or symbol that will represent the item in Takeoff as described in the Takeoff Line Style Screen Reference.
- Click OK.
