Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen. From the NotePad or Takeoff tab, enter the appropriate quantity in the Working Total field. You can also digitize the quantity in the Takeoff tab. Select any cell on the row of the item from which you want to subtract the working total. Note: The unit types for the Working Total and the line item must be the same. Click Subtract on the speedbar.
