Set whether a cost item will be added to or deducted from the estimate

The left-most column in the Detail tab displays whether the
cost item quantity will be added to or deducted from the estimate. For cost items being
deducted, the quantity displays as negative.
From the Detail tab, select the cost item to update
Click Add/Deduct. The leftmost column displays the new add/deduct status. You can click Add/Deduct again to change the cost item back to its original status.
