Sheet Alignment Tool Screen Reference

Modified: 7 Sep 2026 Viewpoint Estimating Estimating Help

To align the sheets manually, click on the red revised sheet, hold the mouse button, and drag the sheet to the appropriate position over the blue original sheet. You can also use the arrow keys to move the revised sheet in small increments.

If your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can magnify the sheets by moving your cursor over the region you want to magnify and scrolling up with the scroll wheel. Scrolling down reduces the magnification level. Magnifying the sheets may make it easier to align them.

When the sheets are magnified, you can move the window horizontally by holding Ctrl and scrolling up on the scroll wheel to move the sheets to the left or holding Ctrl and scrolling down on the scroll wheel to move the sheets to the right. When the sheets are magnified, you can move the window vertically by holding Shift and scrolling up on the scroll wheel to move the sheets up or holding Shift and scrolling down on the scroll wheel to move the sheets down.
