Use the Sheet Properties feature to set certain properties and parameters of each sheet. You will have to set these properties before working on any sheet you import; however, you can also modify these properties at any time.
You must set the scale of a sheet in the sheet properties before performing takeoff. You can select a scale or use the compensate feature to determine the scale. The Sheet Properties window appears automatically the first time you open a sheet. You must set the scale of a sheet before you begin takeoff.
For best results, compensate every digital plan using the longest known distance on the plan. Zoom in on the line you are compensating on as much as possible.
To open a job in the Manage Estimates screen, click in the All Tasks pane. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
