Enable the Auto-Zoom feature

Enable the Auto-Zoom feature and set your preferred magnification level in Estimating Preferences.

Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
1. In the All Tasks pane, select Estimating > Estimating > Manage Estimates.
2. Select the job you want to open.
3. Select OK.
From the All Tasks pane, select Estimating > Setup > Estimating Preferences.
On the Settings tab, select the Enable Takeoff auto-zoom checkbox.
In the Auto-Zoom Level section, set the level of magnification to Low (2x), Medium (4x), or High (8x).
Select OK.
