Magnify specific regions of a drawing to place takeoff or annotation points accurately using the Auto-Zoom feature.
- Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
- In the All Tasks pane, select .
- Select the job you want to open.
- Select OK.
- Select the annotation tool you want to use or select the item to take off from the estimate panel tab.
- Position the mouse pointer on-center of where you want to zoom.
- Click and hold the left mouse button near the region of the plan you want to zoom in to.
The zoom window displays the magnified region.
- Over the point you want to digitize, release the left mouse button.
The zoom window closes.
- Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 until the takeoff is complete.
Note: If at any point you mistakenly apply a point, press Ctrl + z to undo.
