Set up your roll-up digitizer using a USB connection

CAUTION: Do not use the serial connection or the power connection while using the USB connection. Doing so will cause the hardware to malfunction. The USB connection powers the digitizer.
  1. Connect the stylus pen (or 4/16 button cursor) to the digitizer (shown as Transducer (POINTER) in the Roll-Up III Connector Panel image).
  2. Connect the USB cable to the Roll-Up III.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an open USB port on the computer. (If you are using a USB hub, verify that it is self-powered. If you are unsure, check to see if the hub has its own power adaptor connected to it.)

    Windows may detect new hardware. If the Found New Hardware wizard appears, click Cancel. You will install the drivers manually at a later time.
